Key Responsibilities:
Preparing Tandoor Dishes:
Assisting in the preparation of various tandoor dishes, including kebabs, naan, rotis, and grilled items, following recipes and presentation specifications.
Operating and Maintaining Tandoor Oven:
Properly operating and maintaining the tandoor oven, ensuring proper temperature control and cooking techniques.
Food Safety and Hygiene:
Maintaining high food hygiene standards, following safety and sanitation policies, and ensuring compliance with FSSAI norms.
Kitchen Cleanliness:
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and storage areas, adhering to established cleanliness standards.
Inventory and Storage:
Assisting with inventory checks and ensuring proper storage of ingredients, especially those specific to tandoor cooking.
Coordination:
Coordinating with other kitchen sections and staff to ensure smooth operations.
Training and Mentoring:
Training junior staff in tandoor cooking techniques.
Following Instructions:
Following the instructions of the chef and adhering to kitchen SOPs.
