A Channel Sales Manager (Sales) is responsible for developing and managing relationships with partners who resell the company’s products or services, ultimately driving revenue growth through these indirect sales channels. This role involves recruiting, onboarding, training, and supporting partners, as well as developing and executing channel sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1>>Partner Recruitment and Onboarding:
Identifying and recruiting new channel partners, managing the onboarding process, and ensuring they have the resources and knowledge to sell effectively.
2>>Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners, providing ongoing support, and fostering a collaborative environment.
3>>Sales Strategy and Execution:
Developing and implementing channel sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, including setting sales goals, developing marketing plans, and providing training and support.
4>>Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
Tracking partner performance, analyzing sales data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
5>>Conflict Resolution:
Addressing and resolving conflicts or challenges that may arise within the channel partner network.
6>>Training and Enablement:
Providing partners with the necessary product knowledge, sales techniques, and marketing materials to effectively sell the company’s products or services.
7>>Collaboration:
Working closely with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for channel sales efforts.
