A Security Officer’s primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of people and property within a designated area. This involves deterring criminal activity, enforcing rules, and responding to incidents. They achieve this by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, controlling access points, and reporting any suspicious activity or security breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

Regularly inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, both on foot and potentially in vehicles, to identify potential security risks.

Monitoring CCTV cameras and other security systems to detect suspicious behavior or unauthorized activity.
3>>Access Control:
Ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter the premises by verifying identification and potentially using access control systems.
4>>Incident Response:
Responding to alarms, investigating incidents, and taking appropriate action to resolve security breaches or emergencies.
5>>Reporting:
Maintaining detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches, and preparing comprehensive reports.
