Money market funds are available primarily as mutual funds, but Schwab also offers one exchange traded fund (ETF). Money market ETFs offer the same investment strategy as many money market mutual funds but trade on an exchange at market price. Money market ETFs may play the same role in a portfolio as money market mutual funds.
