Deliver Boy

A Delivery Boy’s primary responsibility is to transport packages, documents, or goods from a designated location to a customer’s address or another specified location, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent time management, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery: Safely and efficiently transporting packages, documents, or goods to customers or designated locations.
Route Planning: Planning and optimizing delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Loading and Unloading: Carefully loading and unloading items from the delivery vehicle, sometimes involving lifting and carrying heavy packages.
Customer Service: Interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any questions or concerns, and potentially collecting payments.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including any necessary paperwork or signatures.
Vehicle Maintenance: Ensuring the delivery vehicle is in good working condition, potentially including basic maintenance tasks like checking fluids.
Safety and Compliance: Adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Reporting: Reporting any issues, delays, or accidents to the supervisor promptly.
Route Optimization: Identifying and utilizing the most efficient routes, potentially using GPS or maps.
Payment Handling: In some cases, collecting cash payments from customers upon delivery.
