Key Responsibilities:
Merchant Acquisition:
Identifying and recruiting new merchants to adopt SBI Payments’ digital payment solutions like Soundbox, EDC/POS terminals.
Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with merchants and liaising with SBI branch managers and other teams to generate leads.
Sales and Activation:
Driving sales of SBI Payment products, ensuring POS activation, and promoting usage among existing merchants.
Customer Service:
Addressing merchant queries, resolving issues related to terminals, and providing necessary training.
Sales Target Achievement:
Meeting or exceeding sales targets and contributing to the overall business growth of the company.
Reporting and Analysis:
Tracking sales performance, reporting metrics, and providing feedback to management.
Market Understanding:
Understanding the payment acceptance landscape and identifying opportunities for growth.
Sales Strategy:
Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
