Accountant ( SAP/FIFO )

An Accountant (SAP/FIFO) position involves managing financial accounting and controlling processes within an SAP system, utilizing FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory valuation methods. This role requires a strong understanding of both SAP FI/CO modules and inventory management principles.

Responsibilities:

1>>SAP FI/CO Configuration and Implementation:
Implementing and configuring SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules to meet business requirements, including setting up chart of accounts, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost center accounting, and profit center accounting.
2>>FIFO Inventory Valuation:
Managing inventory valuation using the FIFO method within the SAP system. This includes ensuring accurate cost calculations, inventory tracking, and reporting based on the FIFO principle.
3>>Financial Accounting and Reporting:
Preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing period-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
4>>Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
5>>Integration with Other Modules:
Ensuring seamless integration of FI/CO with other SAP modules like Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP).
6>>User Training and Support:
Providing training and support to end-users on SAP FI/CO functionalities and workflows.
