A .NET / Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web and enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET and Java technologies. The role involves writing clean, scalable code, integrating front-end and back-end components, debugging issues, and ensuring application performance, reliability, and security. The developer works closely with cross-functional teams including QA, UI/UX, product managers, and other developers.
Roles & Responsibilities
Application Development

Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Java / Spring Boot.

Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend modules.

Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following coding standards.

Database & Integration

Work with SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) for queries, stored procedures, indexes, and optimization.

Integrate external APIs, third-party tools, and internal systems.

Handle ORM frameworks like Entity Framework, Hibernate, or JPA.

Testing & Debugging

Perform unit testing using NUnit, JUnit, or similar frameworks.

Identify bugs, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure fixes.

Collaborate with QA for deployment and testing cycles.

System Architecture & Performance

Participate in software design discussions and architecture planning.

Optimize applications for high performance, scalability, and security.

Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and business teams.

Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and code reviews.

Maintain documentation for systems, modules, and APIs
