Security Guard

A Security Guard is primarily responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for the pharmacy’s premises, employees, and customers. This includes monitoring surveillance systems, patrolling the premises, controlling access points, and responding to alarms or incidents. They also play a role in enforcing company policies and procedures related to security and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring and Patrolling:
Regularly inspect and patrol the pharmacy’s premises, including entrances, exits, and surrounding areas, to deter theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
2. Access Control:
Verify identification of visitors, employees, and contractors, authorize entry based on company policy, and maintain visitor logs.
3. Surveillance:
Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious behavior or incidents.
4. Incident Response:
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activities, taking appropriate action such as contacting law enforcement or securing the area.
5. Safety Enforcement:
Ensure adherence to fire safety, health regulations, and evacuation procedures. Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance issues.
6. Maintaining Records:
Prepare and submit reports of daily activities, incidents, and any suspicious actions.
7. First Aid and CPR:
Provide basic first aid and CPR when needed.
