A System Application Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing data generated from business systems and applications to improve processes, optimize system performance, and support decision-making. This role involves working closely with IT, business teams, and application users to ensure data accuracy, extract insights, and enhance overall system efficiency.

The analyst handles system data flows, performs data validation, develops reports/dashboards, and supports troubleshooting within various applications used by the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:
System & Application Support

Analyze data generated from business applications to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.

Understand system workflows, modules, and data structures.

Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.

Support upgrades, testing (UAT), and implementation of system enhancements.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Collect, clean, and validate system data for accuracy and completeness.

Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.

Monitor KPIs and application performance metrics.

Provide insights to improve system usability and operational efficiency.

Data Management

Maintain data integrity across applications and databases.

Support data migration, system integrations, and process automation.

Document system data flows, business rules, and reporting standards.

Collaboration & Communication

Work with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into data solutions.

Liaise with IT, developers, and stakeholders for system improvements.

Provide training and support to end users on application features and data usage.
