Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, including microscopes, analyzers, and centrifuges. Ensuring equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
3. Data Recording and Reporting:
Recording test results accurately and thoroughly in laboratory information systems or patient records. Preparing reports for physicians and other healthcare providers.
4. Quality Control:
Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory testing.
5. Safety and Compliance:
Following safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
6. Inventory Management:
Monitoring and managing laboratory supplies and equipment inventory. Ordering supplies as needed.
7. Collaboration and Support:
Collaborating with other laboratory personnel and assisting in training new staff members.
