A Front Office Associate (FOA) with IDS (Internet Distribution System) software knowledge plays a crucial role in the hospitality industry, specifically in hotel operations. This position involves handling guest interactions, managing reservations, and utilizing the IDS software to manage online distribution of hotel inventory and rates.
Responsibilities:
1>>Guest Interaction and Service:
Greeting and Welcoming: Providing a warm and friendly welcome to all guests upon arrival.
2>>Check-in and Check-out: Efficiently managing the registration and departure process for guests, including room assignment and payment processing.
3>>Handling Inquiries: Answering guest questions, providing information about the hotel and local area, and offering assistance with requests.
4>>Addressing Complaints: Actively listening to guest concerns and working to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
5>>Reservation Management: Processing reservations, making changes, and managing cancellations.
Providing Recommendations: Offering suggestions for local attractions, restaurants, and other services to enhance the guest experience.
