MECHANICAL AUTOCAD DRAFTSMAN

A Mechanical AutoCAD Draftsman creates detailed technical drawings of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using AutoCAD software. They work with engineers, designers, and other team members to develop designs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards and project specifications. They are responsible for generating 2D and 3D models, preparing various mechanical drawings, and maintaining drawing documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1>>Creating detailed drawings:
Generating 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, including parts, assemblies, and installation details.
2>>Interpreting specifications:
Understanding and translating design specifications, sketches, and other technical information into accurate drawings.
3>>Ensuring accuracy and compliance:
Verifying that drawings meet required dimensions, tolerances, and other specifications, as well as industry standards and regulations.
4>>Collaborating with teams:
Working with engineers, designers, and other team members to develop and refine designs.
5>>Maintaining documentation:
Organizing and maintaining drawing files, revisions, and related project documentation.
6>>Revising and updating drawings:
Making changes to drawings based on feedback, design changes, or new information.
7>>Preparing material lists:
Generating lists of materials and components required for fabrication and assembly.
