Regional Credit Manager

Key Responsibilities:
1. Credit Policy & Procedures:
Ensuring adherence to established credit policies and procedures within the region.
Developing and implementing credit programs and initiatives to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
Conducting regular reviews of credit policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
2. Credit Risk Management:
Assessing credit risk associated with loan applications and existing accounts.
Conducting financial analysis, including reviewing financial statements and conducting field visits.
Identifying and mitigating potential credit risks through various methods.
Monitoring portfolio performance and identifying any early warning signs of potential delinquencies.
3. Team Leadership & Management:
Leading and managing a team of credit approvers and other relevant staff.
Providing training and coaching to team members on credit policies, procedures, and risk management techniques.
Fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Liaising with other departments, such as sales, operations, and legal, to ensure smooth credit processing and risk management.
Building relationships with external vendors, including legal and technical agencies.
Coordinating with recovery teams to manage delinquent accounts.
5. Reporting & Compliance:
Preparing and analyzing credit reports, highlighting key trends and potential risks.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on regional credit performance.
