Tailors

Tailors take on a range of duties and responsibilities to ensure the creation of well-fitting and stylish garments. A tailor’s duties and responsibilities may include: Sewing and measuring clothing. Designing and creating clothes from scratch for a customer, such as suits, jackets, blazers, pants and more.
Operate industrial sewing machines to sew, hem, and stitch fabric pieces together. Measure and mark fabric to ensure accuracy and precision. Cut fabric using scissors, knives or other tools. Perform quality control checks on finished garments to ensure they meet client specifications and industry standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Take accurate measurements of clients to ensure proper fit of garments.
Cut and sew fabrics to create custom clothing items.
Alter and repair existing garments.
Collaborate with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the final product.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
