Ward boy responsibilities

Cleanliness and hygiene: Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, beds, and common areas, and disposes of waste according to hospital protocols.
Logistics: Carries files, reports, or specimens between departments and helps with supply management.
Emergency support: Assists in emergencies by quickly moving patients or equipment as directed by medical staff.
Nursing staff responsibilities
Clinical care: Administers medications, performs treatments, and monitors vital signs.
Patient assessment: Assesses patients’ physical and emotional condition and develops care plans.
Medical procedures: Assists doctors in medical procedures and performs nursing-specific tasks like dressing wounds and inserting IVs.
Patient education: Educates patients and families about their condition, treatments, and self-care.
Communication: Acts as a liaison between patients, families, and the rest of the healthcare team, relaying information and concerns.
