A Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting, manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure timely payments for vendors and subcontractors. They will also prepare financial reports, forecasts, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and construction industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Accounting:
Managing all aspects of project accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Financial Reporting:
Preparing and analyzing financial reports, such as Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
3. Budget Management:
Tracking project expenses, ensuring they stay within budget, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
4. Payment Processing:
Processing invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors and subcontractors.
5. Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with construction industry regulations and accounting standards.
6. Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate financial records, including project costing sheets and fixed asset registers.
7. Reconciliation:
Reconciling project-related accounts and monitoring cost allocation.
