Technician

A Technician at Jayalakshmi Motors Isuzu Ltd is primarily responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the optimal performance of Isuzu vehicles. This involves a range of tasks, from routine maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations to more complex repairs involving engine diagnostics, electrical systems, and other mechanical and technical components. They also play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing accurate diagnoses, timely repairs, and clear communication about vehicle issues.

Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Maintenance and Repair:
a. Routine Maintenance:
Performing tasks like oil changes, tire rotations, fluid level checks, and filter replacements.
b. Diagnostic Testing:
Utilizing diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot vehicle malfunctions.
c. Repairing Mechanical and Electrical Systems:
Diagnosing and repairing issues related to engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
d. Replacing Parts:
Replacing worn or damaged parts, including components like brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors.
e. Following Repair Orders:
Completing repairs as outlined on work orders, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
f. Ensuring Quality Work:
Ensuring all repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

2. Customer Service and Communication:
a. Providing Accurate Estimates:
Working with service advisors to provide accurate labor and time estimates for repairs.
b. Communicating with Customers:
Keeping customers informed about the progress of repairs, explaining diagnoses, and providing recommendations for future maintenance.
c. Ensuring Customer Satisfaction:
Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns related to their vehicles.
