Responsibilities of a Credit Officer:
• Credit Officer reports functionally to Area Manager and administratively to Branch Manager.
• In the absence of BM the CO has the charge to manage and handle the Branch.
• CO will be the main point of contact for all credit related issues in the branches assigned to them.
• They are expected to spend 80%-90% of their time in the field.
• The credit officers’ main responsibility is to conduct the GRTs, CPV and verification of documentation.
• CO is also responsible to do any work assigned by the Area Manager.
• CO is responsible for registers and files updating.
• CO is responsible for data entry in the system with “zero” errors
• Prepare cash flow, Data entry, check credit bureau reports, Household visit and KYC Verification.
• Conduct GRT and approval or rejection of loan proposals of a customer/group based only on merits.
• Ensuring approval norms & criteria are met.
• Documentation.

Required Skills:
• Should have a passion and desire to work in the social service sector.
• Ability to identify and set priorities, plan and effectively allocate appropriate resources
• Basic Knowledge of accounting and finance is desirable
• Basic Computer knowledge
• Good Analytical Skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels
• Excellent time management skills and be accustomed to working with deadlines.

KRA:
• On time Loan Application Appraisal.
• Registers and Files should be updated as per required (Daily/Weekly/monthly)
• KYC should be verified with originals and sign in KYC photo copy with OSV seal.
• House hold visit should be done as per credit policy.
• GRT should be done as per credit policy.
• CPV form should be filled accurately and need to do the credit assessment of customer as per credit policy.
• Data entry should be happening with “Zero” errors.

Communication Skills: Fluency in Local Language
Experience: 1+ year experience, Prior MFI exp will have added advantage, Fresher can also Apply.
Behavioral Competencies: Ability to work effectively with different people and teams of people by putting others at ease
