A Branch Business Manager is responsible for leading and managing the branch’s operations, driving sales of Loan Against Property (LAP) and Home Loans (HL), ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining overall branch profitability. This includes leading a team, monitoring loan applications, building relationships with local networks, and handling customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
Manage and motivate branch staff (CROs, Relationship Managers, Credit Officers).
2. Sales & Business Development:
Achieve monthly disbursement targets for LAP and HL products, drive lead generation and conversion, and build relationships with builders, DSAs, and referral partners.
3. Loan Processing & Credit Approval:
Ensure smooth processing of loan applications, compliance with credit policies, and accurate assessment of customer information.
4. Risk Management:
Conduct KYC and Bureau checks, perform field investigations, and detect potential fraud.
5. Post-Approval Process:
Coordinate loan disbursement, verify legal and technical reports, and ensure compliance.
6. Portfolio Management:
Maintain and improve loan portfolio quality, monitor delinquency rates, and implement control measures.
7. Performance Management:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like TAT for loan processing, sanction-to-disbursement conversion rates, and FTR compliance.
8. Customer Service:
Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive customer experience.
9. Reporting:
Submit regular performance reports to senior management.
