A Field Credit Officer is primarily responsible for evaluating loan applications, assessing credit risk, and building relationships with clients in the field. They act as the primary point of contact between the organization and its customers, ensuring quality loan disbursement and adherence to recovery policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Loan Evaluation and Disbursement:
Assessing loan applications, verifying client information, and ensuring adherence to loan policies and procedures.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
Identifying potential clients, conducting meetings, and forming Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
3. Risk Assessment:
Analyzing loan applications, calculating risk ratios, and making informed decisions.
4. Field Operations:
Traveling to client locations to verify information, conduct meetings, and ensure proper loan procedures are followed.
5. Recovery and Collections:
Following established recovery policies and procedures for loan repayments.
6. Customer Service:
Providing excellent customer service and representing the organization within the community.
