Key Responsibilities:
Planning and Preparation: Developing lesson plans, creating instructional materials, and preparing for class.
Instruction and Delivery: Delivering lessons, engaging students, and using various teaching methods.
Assessment and Evaluation: Assessing student learning, providing feedback, and tracking progress.
Classroom Management: Maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment, managing student behavior, and ensuring classroom discipline.
Communication and Collaboration: Communicating with parents, collaborating with colleagues, and participating in school events.
Professional Development: Participating in professional development activities, staying current on educational trends, and seeking opportunities for growth.
Additional Duties:
Supervising students during breaks, lunch, and extracurricular activities.
Grading tests and assignments.
Keeping accurate records of student attendance and grades.
Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Using technology to enhance learning experiences.
Collaborating with other teachers and staff to improve instructional practices.
